What to take for menstrual pain?
Every month my periods are so painful, I can barely do anything on the first day. Heat packs help a little, but I'm looking for something more effective to manage the menstrual pain. Any suggestions?

Garam paani ki bottle mere time mein toh best thi. Also, adrak wali chai ya thoda ajwain paani mein ubaal ke peene se bhi aaram milta tha. These are just old home remedies, but if it's very severe, always better to consult a doctor, beta.
Please, if the pain is severe or debilitating, don't just rely on home remedies. I had really bad period pain which later turned out to be endometriosis. It's so important to get checked by a gynaecologist to rule out any underlying issues. Seriously, please see a doctor.
Hot water bag works wonders for me too!
Back in our days, we just tolerated it, but now there are many options. Don't suffer silently, talk to a doctor. Sometimes small changes in diet or a simple painkiller can make things so much better. It's a natural thing, but doesn't mean you have to be in agony.
Honestly, I used to suffer so much. My gynaecologist suggested some supplements and also asked me to reduce caffeine and highly processed foods a week before my period. It made a huge difference, the pain is much more manageable now. Hydration is key too!

I used to panic every month thinking something was seriously wrong because of the pain. But after talking to my doctor, she reassured me that moderate pain is normal for many. She suggested a particular over-the-counter painkiller which helps a lot. It’s comforting to know it’s not always a huge issue.
I track my cycle with an app and it helps me anticipate the pain. Knowing when it's coming allows me to prepare. Plus, light exercise like gentle stretching or walking during that time really helps release endorphins and reduce cramps for me.
