What to take for kidney health?

My brother was diagnosed with kidney issues, and it made me think about my own kidney health. I want to be proactive. What can I take or do for kidney health generally?

Hey, taking care of your kidneys is super important. The best thing you can 'take' is plenty of water throughout the day. Also, cut down on processed foods, excess salt, and sugar. Regular check-ups with a doctor, especially if you have risk factors, are crucial. Be proactive!

My doctor always stresses on hydration for kidney health. So basically, drink lots of water! Also, controlling blood pressure and blood sugar is super important, as they can really impact your kidneys. And try to eat less salty food. It's all about a healthy lifestyle, really.

For good kidney health, drink plenty of plain water, beti. My mother used to say have barley water sometimes, it helps cleanse. And eat less salty and spicy food. But serious problems need a doctor, not just ghar ke nuskhe. Keep your body pure.

I've been reading about how crucial kidneys are and how often we neglect them. So, apart from drinking water, are there any specific foods that are super good for them? Or maybe certain herbs people take? Just curious about preventative measures.

Good question! For kidney health, the foundation is really just a healthy lifestyle. Drink enough water, manage your blood pressure and sugar (if applicable), and avoid overusing painkillers. Reducing processed foods and salt helps a lot. And yes, regular health check-ups are non-negotiable!

Kidney health is key! 🤩 Hydration, hydration, hydration is my mantra! Also, I try to keep my salt intake in check and exercise regularly. Eating fresh fruits and veggies helps too. And don't forget those annual full body checkups! 🩺

As someone managing thyroid issues, I know how important regular tests are for overall health, including kidneys. My doctor always advises getting kidney function tests done periodically. Beyond that, keeping blood pressure and sugar in control is vital. Follow up with your doctor consistently.
