What to take for high fever?

My younger brother has a very high fever, almost 103 degrees Fahrenheit. We gave him a cold compress, but it's not coming down. What can we give him for a high fever?

Hey, don't worry too much, but high fever needs attention. Take a paracetamol tablet, sponge bath with lukewarm water can help bring it down. Make sure you're drinking lots of fluids, like water, ORS, or even fresh juice. If it stays high for long, please go to a doctor.

Bro, for high fever, I just pop a paracetamol and then sleep it off. Also, my mom always makes me drink kadha, that helps too I guess. But if it's super high, like 102+, then gotta see a doc, don't mess around with that.

High fever, for someone with diabetes, needs immediate monitoring. I take paracetamol as advised by my doctor, but I also check my sugar levels frequently, as fever can affect them. And hydrate with sugar-free fluids only. Always consult your doctor to rule out any underlying infections.

Seriously, don't ignore high fever. I once let it go for days thinking it would pass, and it turned out to be a severe infection that needed antibiotics. It's better to get checked by a doctor, especially if it's not coming down with basic meds or if you have other symptoms.

My son gets high fever sometimes, it's scary. I always give him pediatrician-prescribed paracetamol syrup and lukewarm sponge baths. Hydration is key, so keep pushing fluids. If it crosses 102°F or he seems very unwell, it's straight to the doctor, no questions asked.
