What to take after vomiting?

My little one has been throwing up all morning, and now she's looking a bit weak. I've given her some ORS, but I'm wondering if there's anything else I should give her to help her recover faster and feel better after vomiting. She is not keeping anything down.

Ugh, vomiting is the worst! I always feel so drained and nauseous afterward. Do you guys also feel super weak and like you can't eat anything? I try to just sip on ORS or plain water, but even that sometimes feels hard to keep down.

After a session like that, your body is super dehydrated and low on electrolytes. I'd say stick to clear fluids first – ORS, coconut water, or even some clear vegetable broth. Once you can hold that down, maybe a small banana or some plain toast. No heavy stuff, you gotta let your system recover.

Oh man, I just went through this last week! My stomach was so upset. The only things I could manage were sips of nimbu pani (with a little salt and sugar) and plain rice kanji (porridge). After a few hours, I tried a little curd rice. Small, frequent meals are better than trying to eat a lot at once.

For vomiting, I usually start with sips of ginger tea or just plain warm water. My dadi always recommended a spoonful of cumin (jeera) powder mixed with honey, it sometimes helps settle the stomach. But if it's severe or lasts long, or if you feel very weak, please consult a doctor. Don't ignore serious signs.

Bro, after puking, I just drink Sprite or 7Up, like small sips. And then maybe a few hours later, some khichdi or plain biscuits. Anything heavy and it's game over again. Just stick to light stuff, man.
