What to put on a fever blister?

I woke up with that familiar tingle and now there's a small fever blister forming on my lip. It's really annoying and I want to get rid of it fast. What can I apply to it to make it heal quicker or at least feel better?

Please be very careful with fever blisters. I once ignored one, and it got really bad, leading to a secondary infection. It's best to consult a doctor, they can prescribe antiviral creams that actually work and prevent complications. Don't take chances, especially around the mouth.

While I focus on diet for overall health, for a fever blister, what you put ON it is more important than what you eat. However, I make sure my diet is rich in lysine (found in legumes, soy) and low in arginine (chocolate, nuts) which some say can help. But locally, only use what a doc recommends.

Oh, fever blisters! I used to panic every time I got one. But it's quite common, actually. What helped me was getting an antiviral cream from the chemist after showing it to them, or even better, a doctor. Don't worry too much, they usually go away with proper care.

It's so annoying and sometimes embarrassing when you get a fever blister, I totally understand. The best thing is to get an antiviral cream. It helps reduce the duration and pain. Don't feel bad about it, it happens to many people!

Honestly, there are so many weird home remedies online for fever blisters – toothpaste, garlic, you name it. Don't trust any of that! It's best to go to a doctor or a pharmacist, they'll recommend a proper antiviral cream. Why risk making it worse?

Antiviral cream from the pharmacy is usually effective, but a doc's advice is always good.

Hey, don't worry, fever blisters are pretty common. The most effective thing is an antiviral cream, you can get it at the pharmacy. Just make sure to apply it as soon as you feel it coming. Keep it clean and try not to touch it too much to prevent spreading.

Sometimes a cold compress can give temporary relief. Also, some people swear by dabbing a little aloe vera. But honestly, if it's painful or keeps coming back, please get a doctor to prescribe an antiviral cream. Natural remedies might not be enough.

I've had my share of fever blisters over the years, beta. Don't worry, they usually heal. The best thing is to apply a special cream, an antiviral one, as soon as you feel the tingle. Your doctor or pharmacist can guide you best on which one. Just keep it clean.

Haan, fever blister ho toh bada dikkat hota hai na? Mereko bhi hota rehta hai. Main toh pharmacist se antiviral cream le leti hoon. Doctor se bhi pooch sakte ho, woh bhi same medicine hi denge mostly.
