What to give for vomiting?

Someone at home is constantly vomiting and can't keep anything down. They're feeling really unwell. What can we give them to help stop the vomiting and prevent further dehydration?

For vomiting, the main thing is to prevent dehydration. Sip on ORS regularly, or even some coconut water helps a lot. Try to avoid solid food for a few hours and then slowly introduce bland things like plain rice or curd rice. If it doesn't stop, a doctor's visit is a must.

Look, if it's just once or twice, then ORS and rest should be fine. But if it's constant, don't delay seeing a doctor just to save money on consultation. The cost of getting really sick and needing IV drips will be much higher than an early checkup. Be practical.

Haan, vomiting ho toh na, pehle toh kuch mat khao for some time. Fir thoda thoda ORS peete raho. Mere ghar pe toh hamesha nimbu paani aur sugar ka mix dete hain, but ORS is better. Agar zyada ho toh doc ko dikhao, bilkul na rukna.

With a busy schedule, getting sick is just not an option! For vomiting, I keep anti-emetics handy that my doc prescribed earlier. But for ongoing issues, it's about being smart and getting a quick check-up. Don't let it linger, it affects productivity.

Honestly, be careful about internet advice for vomiting. Some home remedies can actually make things worse. Best to take an anti-emetic if you have one prescribed, otherwise just focus on ORS. If it doesn't stop in a few hours, get to a doctor. Don't experiment.

I've tried so many things for vomiting! What truly helps is ginger tea (without milk) and ORS. Keep a bucket close by, lol. But seriously, if it's continuous, medicines are sometimes needed, and your doctor can help with that.

Vomiting means your body is trying to get rid of something. Don't fight it, just support it. Focus on rehydration with electrolytes. And when you can eat, stick to very light, clean food. No heavy proteins or fats. Get back to exercise only when you feel 100%.

For me, even small things like vomiting can affect my BP, so I'm very careful. I'd say stay hydrated with ORS and avoid anything heavy. If it persists, definitely see your general physician, especially if you have other health conditions. Regular checkups prevent a lot of issues.

Ugh, vomiting is the worst! I always feel so weak after. My go-to is just sips of clear liquids, like ginger ale or ORS. And then super light food, like a little bit of plain toast. Definitely listen to your body and don't force yourself to eat.

My kids often get vomiting. What works for them is small sips of ORS or electral water, like just a spoonful every few minutes. And no solid food until they feel a little better. If they are looking pale or lethargic, I take them to the doctor right away.
