What to give for fever?
Been feeling a bit feverish since yesterday evening, like a body ache and chills. I just want to feel better quickly. What's a common home remedy or something over-the-counter one can take for fever?

Hydration is key! Drink plenty of water, ORS, or fresh fruit juices. For medication, usually paracetamol is given for fever. Always check the dosage, and if it's high or persistent, see a doctor.
When I have a fever, all I crave is some piping hot rasam rice or a simple khichdi. Light on the stomach and comforting! And lots of water, of course.
I use my smartwatch to track my body temp these days, it's pretty handy. For fever, apart from meds, I focus on rest and electrolyte drinks. My fitness app actually has some good recovery meal suggestions for when you're feeling under the weather.
I totally get how draining a fever can be, it's not just physical but mentally tough too. It's okay to feel low. Just focus on rest, staying hydrated, and taking your medicine. Don't push yourself, your body needs to recover.
Beta, fever is common, don't worry too much. Take a Crocin, rest well, and drink lots of water. My mother used to say, a good sweat breaks a fever. And for food, only light things like dalia or soft rice. It will pass.
Oh, fever makes me so worried. Does anyone else feel super weak and just want to sleep all day? I always take a paracetamol, but then I keep checking my temperature every hour. Hope it's nothing serious for you!
Haan, fever mein na, pehle toh Crocin le lo. Aur fir thoda garam paani peeyo, garma garam soup bhi theek rehta hai. Aur rest toh bahut zaroori hai. Jyada din rahe toh doc ko dikha lena, na?
