This path is very challenging. In such times, finding inner peace and surrounding oneself with love and spiritual comfort is important. The physical body will weaken, but the soul seeks tranquility. Focus on comfort, presence, and blessings during this sacred passage.

This is a very severe illness, and unfortunately, natural remedies cannot cure it. In the advanced stages of pancreatic cancer, patients typically experience intense pain, severe weight loss, and weakness. It's crucial to have a medical team for palliative care to manage symptoms and provide comfort.

We had a family friend with pancreatic cancer. It's a very fast and hard journey. Towards the end, the person becomes very weak, often confused, and can't eat or move much. The family's role becomes to provide love and comfort, with doctors managing the pain. It is a time for peace.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. It sounds incredibly difficult. Is there anything specific the family can do to help with the pain or make the person more peaceful in their final days? I imagine it's a very helpless feeling.

Pancreatic cancer severely impacts the body's ability to produce insulin and digest food. So, end-stage patients often have uncontrolled blood sugar issues, extreme malnutrition, and severe pain. It's a complex medical scenario where comfort and symptom control are the primary goals.

With end-stage pancreatic cancer, you can expect profound cachexia (wasting), severe pain (often requiring strong opioids), jaundice, and ascites. Bowel obstruction is also common. The focus of care shifts entirely to palliation, maximizing comfort, and supporting the family through this difficult period. Hospice care is usually recommended.

My grand-uncle had pancreatic cancer. It was really rough. Towards the end, he was very weak, couldn't eat much, and was in a lot of pain, even with medicines. The doctors and nurses just tried to make him comfortable. It's a very sad thing.
