What to eat when you have malaria?

My friend recently got malaria and he's finding it hard to eat properly and maintain energy. I want to help him. What foods are recommended to eat when you have malaria to aid recovery?

Malaria is really tough, I remember how drained and depressed I felt. Just focus on eating whatever light food you can manage, even if it's small portions. Don't force yourself, but try to stay hydrated. It gets better, hold on.

Honestly, the best thing is to directly ask your doctor or the nutritionist at the hospital where you're getting treated. They'll know your specific condition and can give tailored advice. Don't rely on random internet tips for something like malaria, it's serious.

When my son had malaria, the doctor told us to give him lots of fluids, like ORS, coconut water, and daal ka paani. For food, soft khichdi with very little spice, or plain rice with curd worked well. Main thing is easily digestible and nutritious food to regain strength.

Beta, when I was young, for malaria we always had very light food. Moong dal khichdi, sometimes daliya. Drink lots of warm water, and a little ginger tea can help. But listen to your doctor too, these are just things to help keep you comfortable.

Hey! Malaria can be a real downer 😔 but don't worry, you'll recover soon! Try having lots of fresh fruit juices and soups, especially clear vegetable soups. And lots of water to stay hydrated! Get well soon! ✨

Oh, malaria completely wrecks your appetite, right? I craved comfort food but knew I couldn't have anything heavy. My go-to was really bland khichdi, like just rice and moong dal, no tadka. And lots of fresh coconut water! It helps a lot with the weakness.
