What to eat when vomiting and diarrhoea?

My younger sister is down with some bug and she's been vomiting and has diarrhoea. She's really weak. What are the best things for her to eat when she's vomiting and has diarrhoea?

For vomiting and diarrhoea, the most important thing is to stay hydrated. Sip on ORS regularly. For food, stick to bland options like plain boiled rice, khichdi, or toast. Avoid anything spicy, oily, or dairy-based. Small, frequent meals are better than large ones. And if it doesn't get better, please see a doctor.

Dude, that combo is hell. I remember one time I just kept ORS sachets by my bed and sipped them constantly. Food-wise, only plain white rice with a bit of salt, or a plain banana if I felt strong enough. Everything else just came back up. Good luck, man!

When you have both, stick to very simple, bland foods. Plain rice, soft-cooked dal, or plain toast are usually okay. Ginger tea can sometimes help with nausea. But if symptoms are severe, persistent, or you feel very weak, please don't hesitate to visit a doctor.

Hey, it's going to be okay, this too shall pass. For now, prioritize staying hydrated. Sip on ORS, coconut water, or clear broth. Don't force yourself to eat much, but if you can manage, plain rice, idli, or a banana are gentle on the stomach. Take it easy and rest.

Vomiting and diarrhoea can lead to rapid dehydration, which is quite serious. My advice is always to get checked by a doctor to know the cause. Meanwhile, keep sipping ORS solution and avoid solid food. Once symptoms ease, slowly introduce bland, easy-to-digest foods like plain khichdi or toast. Don't risk it, see a doctor.
