What to eat when u have diarrhea and vomiting?

I've had awful diarrhea and vomiting all night, and I feel completely drained. I need to get some nutrients in me but also don't want to upset my stomach more. What should I eat when I have diarrhea and vomiting?

Bro, that's the absolute worst combo. I had it once and basically lived on ORS and plain toast for like two days. My mom made me some thin dal-chawal too, really bland. Avoid anything oily or spicy, seriously, it'll just make it worse.

Oh, I just went through this last month! It was horrible. My doctor told me to stick to a BRAT diet – Bananas, Rice, Applesauce (not common here, so I just did plain boiled apple pieces), and Toast. And constant sips of ORS. Hydration is everything when you're losing so much fluid.

For mild diarrhea and vomiting, clear fluids like ORS, coconut water, or weak black tea can help. Bland foods like plain boiled rice, khichdi, or curd rice (without spices) are also good. But if it's severe, persistent, or accompanied by high fever or blood, please see a doctor immediately.

Agreed with others, ORS and super bland foods are key. Also, don't try to force yourself to eat; just stay hydrated.

When you have both, the main concern is dehydration which can get expensive to treat if it becomes severe. ORS packets are cheap and effective. Stick to home-cooked plain foods like rice and dal. If it doesn't get better in a day or so, don't delay a doctor's visit, it can save you bigger medical bills later.

I was just looking this up because my little cousin had a bad stomach bug. The general advice is to avoid anything rich or spicy. Focus on rehydrating with ORS and then gradually introduce super bland foods like plain boiled rice or toast. It makes sense, right? Give the stomach a break.

When dealing with both diarrhea and vomiting, the primary goal is to prevent dehydration. Sip ORS solution frequently. For food, bland, easily digestible options like plain boiled rice, dalia, or plain toast are recommended. Avoid dairy, spicy, oily foods, and caffeine. However, if symptoms persist or worsen, consulting a doctor is essential.

Oh no, diarrhea and vomiting is the worst combo! Don't stress too much, just focus on keeping yourself hydrated. Sip on ORS or coconut water. And when you can finally eat, plain khichdi or toast is your best friend. No experimenting with food, okay? Feel better soon!
