What to eat when nauseated and vomiting?

I've been feeling really sick to my stomach all morning and have thrown up a couple of times. I need to eat something light. What foods are best to eat when I'm feeling so nauseated and vomiting?

Nausea and vomiting is such a horrible combination, it really drains you emotionally. Don't feel bad if you can't eat much. Just focus on small sips of clear fluids like ORS or coconut water. Plain toast or a bit of boiled rice might work if you feel slightly better.

I was just reading up on this because my friend felt really sick last week. Most sources say to stick to bland stuff. Like plain boiled rice, toast, or maybe some applesauce. And definitely lots of sips of water or ORS to keep from getting dehydrated.

It's tough when you're feeling like that. Just try to keep sipping on water or ORS to stay hydrated. Don't try to eat anything heavy. Small bits of plain toast or a banana might help when you're ready.

I totally get it, that feeling is absolutely miserable. When I'm like that, even the thought of food makes me sick. Try just tiny sips of water or ORS to stay hydrated. If you can manage, some plain glucose biscuits or very light khichdi might be okay. Don't push yourself.

First, focus on rehydration. Small, frequent sips of ORS or plain water are crucial. Avoid anything spicy, oily, or very sweet. If you can tolerate it, try bland foods like plain crackers, boiled rice with a little salt, or clear broth. Don't force yourself to eat if you can't.
