What to eat on upset stomach vomiting?

I've had an upset stomach all day and just vomited. I'm feeling very weak and don't know what I can eat without feeling sick again. What's good to eat when your stomach is upset and you're vomiting?

For an upset stomach with vomiting, bland foods are best – think khichdi, curd rice. Also, if you have any underlying conditions like thyroid, prolonged vomiting can really affect your medication absorption and electrolyte balance. So if it doesn't settle, please see a doctor immediately.

When my stomach is upset and I'm vomiting, I stick to very bland foods. Plain dal-chawal, or just plain curd rice. Sometimes, a little piece of ginger with honey works. Avoid anything oily, spicy, or very sugary. Hydration is key, so ORS or nimbu pani is a must.

Strictly bland diet. BRAT diet (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast) is generally recommended. Avoid dairy, spicy foods, high-fat foods, and caffeine. Focus on clear liquids, ORS, and small, frequent meals to rehydrate and settle your stomach.

If you're diabetic and have an upset stomach with vomiting, it's crucial to manage your blood sugar. Avoid sugary drinks for hydration and stick to plain ORS. Bland, easily digestible foods like plain idli or steamed vegetables in small portions are best. Consult your doctor if your sugars are erratic or vomiting is persistent.

Ugh, an upset stomach with vomiting is the worst, I always panic thinking it's something serious. But for immediate relief, definitely stick to very, very plain food. Think just rice or toast, and lots of sips of water or ORS. Don't push it. If it doesn't stop, please see a doctor, don't wait.
