What to eat in kidney problem?

My doctor told me I have some kidney issues and need to be careful with my diet. I'm not sure what foods are safe and what to avoid. What should I be eating for a kidney-friendly diet?

Please be very careful, I had complications earlier by just following internet advice. It's really serious with kidney issues, you need a proper diet plan from a nephrologist or a renal dietitian. What suits one person might not suit you.

Generally, for kidney health, limiting sodium, phosphorus, and potassium is key. So, processed foods, high-potassium fruits/veggies like bananas/potatoes, and some dairy should be reduced. But this is general gyaan, for your specific case, best to consult a doc.

Bhai, my uncle has kidney issues. He mostly eats low-salt khana, like plain roti, boiled veggies and dal. No fizzy drinks, no outside food. It's tough but gotta do it for health. Your doc will tell you best.

Hey, don't stress too much, but definitely listen to your doctor. Usually, they recommend low protein, low salt, and controlling potassium and phosphorus. Lots of fresh, simple ghar ka khana is always good. You'll figure it out!

Namaste beta. Hamare gaon mein, jinko gurde ki takleef hoti hai, unhe halka bhojan khane ko kehte hain. Kum namak, kum tel aur ubali sabziyan. Jaldi se doctor ko dikha lo, woh sahi raasta batayenge.

It's totally normal to feel anxious about diet changes, especially with kidney problems. I've been there. What helped me was focusing on fresh, home-cooked meals. But seriously, only a doctor can give you the right diet chart for your specific condition. Don't rely on random advice.

I just recovered from a kidney stone issue, and the doc emphasized reducing oxalate-rich foods like spinach, nuts, and chocolate. Also, cutting down on sodium is super important. Every kidney problem is different though, so please consult your doctor for a personalized plan.

My son had kidney issues, and it was a steep learning curve. We had to follow a strict low-sodium, low-potassium diet. No processed foods at all, and careful with fruits like oranges and bananas. A dietician specialized in kidney disease is a must, they create a meal plan for you.
