What to eat for migraine headache?

I suffer from really bad migraine headaches, and sometimes certain foods trigger them. I'm trying to identify what I should eat, or avoid, to lessen the frequency and intensity of these attacks. Any suggestions for migraine-friendly foods?

Hi! For migraines, it's often about identifying your triggers. Common food triggers can be aged cheese, processed meats, chocolate, and caffeine. Try keeping a food diary to see if there's a pattern. Eating regular meals and staying hydrated also helps.

Migraines are really tough. Sometimes, just bland food helps during an attack. Things like plain rice, dal, or toast. And staying away from strong smells or anything spicy. Hope you feel better soon.

Namaste. For migraines, beyond diet, observe your body and breath. Many find relief by avoiding very cold foods, citrus fruits during an attack, and heavy meals. Focus on sattvic foods, light and easy to digest. Regular pranayama also calms the system.

Beta, hamare gaon mein toh log kehte hain ki migraine mein light khana khao. Khichdi, dahi chawal. Aur adrak wali chai bhi thodi theek lagti hai kai baar. Zyada teekha, tale hue se bachna chahiye. Thanda paani mat piyo.

Oh, I've tried so many things for migraines! What works for me is definitely avoiding anything with MSG, and less caffeine. During an attack, I stick to simple, easily digestible foods like moong dal khichdi. Also, ginger tea can sometimes give a little relief. Keep a food diary, it helps a lot.
