Please, if you are vomiting, just focus on hydration. I once ignored continuous vomiting and ended up severely dehydrated, needing IV fluids. Don't make my mistake. Sips of ORS, coconut water, or clear broth. And if it doesn't stop or is severe, consult a doctor immediately. Don't wait.
When you're vomiting, your body loses electrolytes fast. Check your fitness tracker for heart rate and hydration warnings. Focus on electrolyte-rich fluids like ORS. Once the vomiting subsides, a little plain toast or boiled rice. Avoid any high-fat or sugary foods that could upset your stomach further.
Vomiting can quickly lead to dehydration, which means doctor visits and potentially costly hospital stays. To avoid that, keep rehydrating with homemade nimbu pani with salt and sugar, or ORS powder from the chemist, it's inexpensive. Don't waste money on fancy drinks. Simple, bland food like rice kanji when you feel better.
Beti, jab ulti ho na, toh sirf thoda thoda paani piyo. Nimbu paani mein namak-cheeni daal ke banao, woh achha rehta hai. Khaane mein toh sirf patli khichdi ya daliya kha sakte ho. Zyada mat socho, bas aaram karo. Jaldi theek ho jaogi.
As a vegetarian, I usually rely on very light, easy-to-digest carbs during vomiting. Think plain boiled rice, thin moong dal soup, or even just sabudana khichdi without too many spices. And lots of coconut water for electrolytes. Avoid any dairy initially, unless it's just a tiny bit of plain curd once you're feeling better.
Ah, vomiting is very uncomfortable. In my time, we just had some rice gruel, very plain, and lots of boiled water. The main thing is to let your stomach settle. Don't rush into eating. If it's too much, don't hesitate to see a doctor. It's better to be safe.
