What to eat as a pre diabetic?

My recent check-up showed I'm pre-diabetic, and the doctor stressed on changing my diet. I'm trying to figure out what kind of food choices I should make daily to prevent it from progressing to full diabetes. Any suggestions?

When my reports showed pre-diabetes, I immediately went to a good hospital and met an endocrinologist and nutritionist. They gave me a proper diet chart. Please don't rely on general advice; get a personalized plan from your doctor. They know your specific numbers.

My son is pre-diabetic, so we've become very strict at home. We focus on whole grains like brown rice and ragi, lots of vegetables, and lean proteins. We cut down on all sugary drinks, juices, and processed snacks completely. Small, frequent meals work best for him.

It's really important to monitor your blood sugar regularly if you're pre-diabetic. My doctor always says that consistent monitoring helps you understand which foods affect you most. Also, try to keep your weight in check, that makes a big difference.

Simple funda hai: cut down on sugar, maida, and fried stuff. Eat more daal, sabzi, roti (whole wheat), and fruits in moderation. And walk daily, even if it's just for 30 minutes. Don't complicate it, just be consistent.

I can totally imagine how overwhelming it must feel to get that pre-diabetic diagnosis. It's a wake-up call. Start with small changes, like swapping white rice for brown rice or reducing sugar in your chai. Don't try to change everything overnight, it can be too much.
