What to drink when u have fever?

I have a fever today and my throat is also a bit sore. What are some good drinks to have when you have a fever? I want to make sure I'm drinking things that will help, not hurt.

Warm water with a bit of honey and lemon is really comforting for a fever. Also, plain clear vegetable broth is good for nutrients. But if the fever is very high or doesn't go down, please see a doctor right away.

Yeah, I was wondering the same! I usually just drink water, but my mom always forces me to have some 'kadha' or ginger tea. Is that actually helpful or just a home remedy thing?

Don't underestimate fever. Hydration is critical, especially when you're sweating a lot. I once didn't drink enough and ended up feeling much worse, almost dizzy. Drink ORS, or at least coconut water. And if it's high, please get to a doctor, don't wait for complications.

Simple plain water, and plenty of it. Keep yourself hydrated. Warm liquids like clear soup or ginger tea also work. Avoid anything too cold or fizzy. If fever is high or long-lasting, meet a doctor.

When I get a fever, I feel so weak, even drinking feels like an effort. I try to stick to warm water or some light soup. Does anyone else struggle to even drink when they have a bad fever?

Bhai, fever mein paani bohot peena chahiye. Normal tap water ya thoda garam karke. ORS ka packet ho toh woh bhi le lo. Ghar pe nimbu paani bana ke bhi pe sakte ho, with namak-cheeni. Simple stuff works best.

My fitness app reminds me to track my water intake even when healthy, but especially with fever! Aim for clear liquids. ORS is medically proven to help replace electrolytes. Otherwise, warm herbal teas or clear broths are good. Stay hydrated, that's the key data point!
