What to do when vomiting too much?

My stomach has been upset all day, and I've been vomiting continuously, unable to keep anything down. I'm feeling very weak now. What are the best immediate steps to take when vomiting too much?

Oh no, that sounds awful! 😟 The most important thing is to stay hydrated. Keep sipping small amounts of water or ORS. If you can't keep anything down at all, or if it lasts for a long time, please see a doctor quickly! Hope you feel better soon! ✨

Hey, don't stress too much but also don't take it lightly! When you're vomiting a lot, you can get really weak. Try to sip some clear fluids like nimbu paani or ORS. If it just keeps coming, seriously, get to a doctor or an emergency room. A friend can take you. Get well soon!

Arre yaar, bahut zyada vomiting ho rahi hai toh serious baat hai na. Haan, thoda-thoda paani peete raho, ORS mil jaaye toh woh sabse best hai. Lekin agar ruk nahi rahi hai, toh ghar pe mat baitho, seedha doctor ke paas jaao. Dehydration bahut khatarnak ho sakti hai.

My doctor once explained that severe vomiting means you're at risk of electrolyte imbalance. They specifically recommended ORS, not just plain water, because it replaces lost salts and sugars. Also, avoid dairy and fatty foods for a day or two. If there's blood or extreme pain, it's an emergency, they said.

Beta, when you vomit too much, your body gets very tired. We used to give our children sips of warm water with a pinch of salt and sugar, or some rice kanji (gruel). The main thing is to prevent dehydration. If it doesn't stop, please let an elder or a doctor check you. Don't be afraid.

Yaar, if it's too much vomiting, you're losing a lot of fluids, actually. Don't try to eat anything solid for a while. Just focus on small sips of water or electral. And if it's really bad, like you can't even hold water, then seriously, go to a doc, don't delay.

Okay, take it easy. First, just try to rest and let your stomach settle. Don't force yourself to eat or drink large amounts. Small, frequent sips of water or an electrolyte solution are key. If you start feeling dizzy, extremely weak, or if the vomiting continues for many hours, you really need to get medical help. Don't hesitate.
