What to do when sciatica pain is unbearable?

My husband has been suffering from sciatica for years now, and sometimes the pain becomes absolutely unbearable, affecting his daily life. We've tried various treatments, but are there any other remedies or exercises that can help when sciatica pain is this bad?

Hey, I know sciatica pain can be absolutely terrible, but don't stress too much, it'll just make it worse. My friend had it and her physio gave her some gentle stretches, like knee-to-chest. And a hot pack always helped her. But seriously, see a good physio or doc soon, okay?

I can only speak from what I've seen. My uncle suffered from sciatica and the pain was excruciating. He found some relief with nerve pain medication prescribed by his doctor, along with regular physiotherapy sessions. He also had to change his sleeping position. It's definitely something that requires professional medical intervention.

Uff, sciatica sounds like a nightmare, definitely not something I'd want messing with my ability to enjoy good food! But for pain that bad, no amount of comfort food is gonna fix it. You need a specialist, like a good orthopaedic or pain management doctor. They'll probably prescribe proper meds or therapies. Forget home remedies for this one!

Beti, sciatica ka dard bahut kathin hota hai. Humare ghar mein toh jab kisi ko aisa hota hai, hum thoda garam tel se malish karte hain aur adrak ka kadha dete hain. Lekin agar dard itna zyada hai toh ache doctor ko dikhana hi padega. Ayurveda mein bhi iske liye upaay hain, par kisi anubhawi vaidh se hi poochhna.

Unbearable pain is a sign that simple home remedies won't work. You need to see a good orthopaedic doctor. They will likely prescribe painkillers and maybe some muscle relaxants. Physiotherapy is also essential for long-term relief and to prevent recurrence. Don't try to manage this without proper medical guidance, it can get worse.

Bhai, jab dard itna zyada ho na, toh hero banne ka nahi. Seedha doctor ke paas jaao. Sciatica ka pain bahut bura hota hai. Ek achha physiotherapist ya spine specialist dikhaao. Wo sahi exercises aur dawai bataayenge. Time waste mat karo idhar-udhar.

Uff, sciatica pain, I totally get it, it can be absolutely crippling and drain all your energy. No one should have to endure unbearable pain. Please, please get to a doctor immediately – ideally a neurologist or an orthopaedic specialist. They can offer strong pain relief and help manage it properly so you can get some much-needed comfort.

For unbearable sciatica pain, immediate steps include rest in a comfortable position, typically on your side with a pillow between knees, or on your back with knees bent. Ice packs can help initially, followed by heat. However, since the pain is unbearable, this warrants an urgent consultation with an orthopedic specialist or neurologist for proper diagnosis and strong pain management, which may include specific medications or injections.

Oh, that sounds so painful! I don't really know much about sciatica, but I hope they get some relief soon. Is it usually caused by a slipped disc, or can it be other things too? I'm just curious.
