What to do when a person is vomiting?
My little one, Rina, vomited twice last night after dinner. She's just 3 years old. I'm worried; what should I do for her right now to make her feel better?

When my son vomits, the first thing I do is make sure he sips small amounts of water or ORS regularly to prevent dehydration. We keep a bowl ready near him. I usually wait a few hours before offering anything solid like khichdi. If it doesn't stop, we go to the pediatrician immediately.
Vomiting means you need to be careful, especially with losing fluids. ORS is cheap and very important, always keep it. Going to the doctor for a basic check-up won't cost much if caught early, but if you wait, tests and medicines can get expensive. Better to prevent it.
Dekho, vomiting hai toh dehydration ho sakta hai. Pani pilaao thoda thoda. ORS packet rakh lo ghar pe, kaam aata hai. Agar 2-3 baar se zyada ho raha hai ya fever bhi hai, toh seedha doctor ke paas jaao. Zyaada sochne ka nahi.
Oh, it's such an uncomfortable feeling, I totally get it. I've tried ginger tea, ajwain water, and even plain ice chips to calm the stomach. Sometimes it helps. But honestly, if it's severe or keeps happening, home remedies won't cut it. You need proper medical attention then, no two ways about it.
It must be really difficult for the person. Make sure they rest and offer sips of water or ORS to prevent dehydration. If it doesn't get better, please see a doctor for proper care.
