What to do if you have asthma and no inhaler?

Last week, I had a sudden asthma attack while I was out, and realised I had forgotten my inhaler at home. It was a really terrifying experience. What can someone do if they have asthma and don't have their inhaler with them?

Okay, seriously, if you have asthma and NO inhaler and can't breathe, you need to go to the emergency room or call an ambulance. This is not something you can fix with a home remedy found online. Get medical help immediately.

That's a tricky spot. While I'm all for managing health with a good diet and fitness, in an acute asthma attack with no inhaler, you need professional help. Try to keep calm, sit upright, and have someone get you to a doctor or call emergency services right away.

Oh, the worst feeling ever! If you're having an attack and no inhaler, call emergency services (like 108) right away. While waiting, try to sit upright, take slow, deep breaths, and focus on staying calm. Don't lie down. Get help to you fast.

Oh my god, that sounds terrifying! I always worry about something like that happening. Has anyone else felt this way without their inhaler? What did you do? I think calling an ambulance is the only option, right?

Beta, this is an emergency situation, no two ways about it. The first thing is to get medical help. Call the emergency number or have someone take you to the hospital. Don't delay, your breath is precious.
