What to consume after vomiting?

I've been having a bit of a stomach bug and just vomited. I feel really weak and my stomach is upset. What should I consume after vomiting to help myself recover and not upset my stomach further?

Oh, that feeling after vomiting is the worst, makes you panic about what to eat! But don't worry, it's normal. Start with small sips of water or ORS to rehydrate. Then, bland food like plain rice, toast, or a little banana. Avoid anything heavy or spicy. Just go slow.

After vomiting, it's crucial to rehydrate and replenish electrolytes. I usually recommend sips of ORS or coconut water. For food, start with bland, easy-to-digest options like a little plain rice kanji, soft idli, or steamed moong dal khichdi. Avoid anything spicy, oily, or acidic.

Immediately after vomiting, rehydration is key. ORS is cheap and effective, available at any chemist. Avoid expensive sugary drinks. For food, plain boiled rice or toast is usually recommended. If it persists, don't keep self-treating; a doctor's visit might be needed, which will be an expense, so be practical.

Oh no, vomiting is the worst! 🤢 For rehydration, ORS or plain coconut water are your best friends. 🥥 Then, gradually introduce super bland stuff like plain white rice, toast, or a banana. Think gentle, happy foods for your tummy! 😊 Hope you feel better soon!

My health app often suggests the BRAT diet (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast) for upset stomachs. After vomiting, focus on clear liquids like ORS, coconut water, or clear broth initially. Once you feel better, introduce bland foods slowly. Hydration tracking is super important here.

After vomiting, my mother always gave us plain rice water or thin kanji, sometimes with a little salt. Coconut water is also very good. Avoid milk and spicy food. For severe or continuous vomiting, please consult a doctor without delay; they can advise best.

Beta, after such discomfort, the stomach is delicate. Drink small sips of lukewarm water. Some people find jeera water or a little ginger tea comforting. For food, plain moong dal khichdi, very light, with no spices, is what we traditionally give. But if vomiting continues, don't delay in seeing a doctor.
