What time should diabetics stop eating at night?

My father has diabetes, and we're trying to help him manage his blood sugar better. He often eats late dinners, but I heard that's not good for diabetics. What time should he ideally stop eating at night?

Honestly, for diabetics, I've heard not to eat too late. Like, try to finish dinner by 7:30-8 PM if you sleep by 10-11 PM. Mere ek friend ke dad bhi yahi follow karte hain, unko diabetes hai.

My endocrinologist always stresses the 'earlier the better' rule for diabetics, aiming for at least 2-3 hours before bedtime. This gives your body enough time to process glucose and prevent overnight spikes. She also recommended lighter, protein-rich dinners.

Yaar, actually, for diabetics, it's super important to not eat just before sleeping. I think doctors say like 3 hours before? So if you sleep at 11, try to finish dinner by 8 PM. And keep it light, na.

Generally, for diabetics, it's advised to have dinner at least two to three hours before going to bed. This helps the body manage blood sugar levels more effectively overnight. Also, focus on what you eat for dinner – lighter, less processed options are always better.

My nani used to say, for anyone, not just diabetics, dinner should be like a small bird's meal and eaten early. For diabetes, I've heard 7-7:30 PM is ideal. But if you have specific concerns, always best to check with your doctor, they know your case best.
