What test measures liver enzymes?

My father's recent blood report showed some numbers related to his liver were a bit high. The doctor said they're liver enzymes. What is the usual test that measures these liver enzymes?

Beta, liver ke enzymes check karne ke liye Liver Function Test (LFT) hota hai. Usme SGPT (ALT) aur SGOT (AST) jaisi cheezein dekhte hain. Pehle ke zamane mein log haldi aur neem ka paani bhi peete the liver ke liye, par ab doctor se hi poochhna chahiye.

I just recovered from a liver issue, so I know this! They do a Liver Function Test (LFT). In that, they specifically check enzymes like ALT (SGPT) and AST (SGOT). Those levels tell them if your liver is stressed. Make sure you follow the doctor's instructions properly.

When my dad had some liver issues, the doctor asked for a Liver Function Test (LFT). It showed his SGPT and SGOT levels. That's my only experience, so for proper medical advice, always talk to a doctor.

Um, I think it's called a Liver Function Test (LFT)? My friend mentioned it. Does it check all the different enzymes like ALT and AST? Just curious. Hope you get the right info!

For measuring liver enzymes, the most common and comprehensive test is the Liver Function Test, or LFT. This blood test includes various parameters like ALT (SGPT), AST (SGOT), Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP), and GGT. These help assess the health of your liver. Please consult your doctor for a detailed interpretation.
