What temperature is considered a fever?

My younger brother has been feeling unusually warm all day. His thermometer reading was 99.9°F. I'm a bit unsure, what temperature is actually considered a fever?

I ignored my symptoms for too long once, thinking it was just a slight chill. For adults, 100.4°F (38°C) is officially considered a fever. If you hit that, or feel consistently unwell, please get it checked. Don't make my mistake and delay seeing a doctor.

Generally, 100.4°F (38°C) or higher is considered a fever. If it's a mild one and my doc gives the green light, I might do light stretching, but definitely no heavy exercise. Listen to your body and your doctor before pushing it.

Yeah, it's a common question! For adults, if your temperature reads 100.4°F (38°C) or above, that's considered a fever. I always keep a thermometer at home and make sure to rest and hydrate if it goes up. Stay safe!

Oh, I've tried all sorts of home remedies for fevers! But scientifically, 100.4°F (38°C) is the official point for a fever. If it's just a bit above that, ginger tea and rest helps. But if it goes high, don't rely on home stuff, please see a doctor quickly.

My family used to say 'if you feel hot and uneasy, it's a fever'. But to be precise, medically, anything above 100.4°F (38°C) is considered a fever for adults. Always best to use a thermometer and consult your doctor for proper guidance.

I totally get why you're asking, it can be confusing. Generally, a temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher is considered a fever. It's your body reacting to something, so don't ignore it, rest up!

My health app considers anything above 100.4°F (38°C) as a fever. It's the standard medical definition. If my tracker shows a continuous rise or it stays high, I usually consult a doctor immediately. Technology helps keep track.

A fever is a signal from the body, typically indicated by a temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher. Be gentle with yourself, practice self-care, and maintain a positive mindset. Trust your body to heal, and seek guidance from doctors when needed.

Yaar, actually, most doctors consider 100.4°F (38°C) as the starting point for a fever in adults. Anything below that is usually just your body temperature fluctuating. But if you feel really bad, even with less, take rest, no?
