What temperature indicates a fever?
My little girl has been running a bit warm, and I checked her temperature. I want to be sure if it's just normal variation or an actual fever. What temperature indicates a fever?

Generally, if your thermometer shows 100.4°F (38°C) or higher, it's a fever! 😊 But don't just go by numbers, if you're feeling really unwell, take care of yourself! Drink lots of water! 💧
From a holistic perspective, any deviation from your normal body feeling is important. However, medically, 100.4°F (38°C) is the indicator for fever. Keep calm, focus on your breath, and allow your body to heal. Listen to what it needs.
For kids, it's often a lower threshold, but for adults, generally 100.4°F (38°C) indicates a fever. If my child has that, I give them crocin and keep them hydrated. For myself, I'd do the same. If it's higher or they look really sick, then it's time for the pediatrician.
As a diabetic, I have to be very careful with any health changes. A fever typically starts at 100.4°F (38°C). If you have diabetes, even a slight fever can affect blood sugar, so monitor it closely and consult your doctor for advice, especially about diet.
For adults, 100.4°F (38°C) is typically the fever mark. If it stays around that or goes higher, then you might need a doctor and some tests, which can be costly. So, better to take care of yourself quickly with rest and simple remedies before it gets worse.
