What temperature fever should you go to the hospital?

My elderly mother has a fever that seems to be getting higher. We're managing it at home, but I need to know when it's serious enough to seek professional help. What temperature fever should you go to the hospital for?

For adults, if your fever is consistently above 103°F (39.4°C) and not responding to medication, or if you have severe symptoms like confusion, difficulty breathing, or a stiff neck, then it's time for the hospital. Don't wait too long, it's better to be safe.

I usually prefer home remedies for mild fevers, like kadha or cold compresses. But if your temperature hits 103°F (39.4°C) or higher, especially if you also feel very weak or confused, then forget home remedies and go straight to a doctor or hospital. Some things you just can't manage at home.

My personal rule is, if it's over 102°F (38.9°C) and I feel really terrible, or it's not going down with meds, I'd go. But if it crosses 103°F (39.4°C), that's definitely hospital time for me. Not worth taking risks, bro.

Hospital visits and tests are expensive, so you want to be sure. If the fever is above 103°F (39.4°C) and doesn't reduce with medicine within a few hours, or if you have any other serious symptoms like severe pain or breathlessness, then you must go. Don't delay thinking about money when it's critical.

Simple rule of thumb: If it's consistently 103°F (39.4°C) or above, or if you feel exceptionally ill with other worrying symptoms like confusion, seizures, or severe pain, then you need to hit the hospital. Don't overthink it, just go.

Dekho bhai, agar 103°F (39.4°C) se upar hai bukhar aur utar nahi raha dawa se, ya agar saans lene mein takleef ho rahi hai, ya chakkar aa rahe hain, toh seedha hospital jaao. No point waiting at home. Your health is priority.

This is exactly what I always worry about! What if I wait too long? My doctor said if it's 103°F (39.4°C) or above, or if I'm short of breath, or have extreme pain, I should go immediately. Has anyone else felt that panic trying to decide?
