What temperature counts as a fever?

My daughter is home from school with a slight temperature. I'm always confused about when to consider it a proper fever. What temperature counts as a fever, actually?

Bhai, for me, if it's anything above 99.5 and I'm feeling sick, I consider it a fever. But my doc always says anything over 100.4°F (38°C) is a proper fever. So yeah, usually that's the number to watch out for.

Please, don't rely on random advice you find here or anywhere else online for exact medical numbers. For adults, generally, it's 100.4°F (38°C) or higher. But verify this with a real doctor, they are the best source, not internet forums.

Basically, doctors say 100.4°F (38°C) is the benchmark for a fever, ho na? But sometimes, even at 99.5, if you're feeling very low, it's good to rest and monitor. Always better to be careful.

Humein toh bachpan se sikhaya hai, haath laga ke dekho garam lag raha hai toh bukhar hai. But modern doctors say above 100.4°F (38°C). If it's a little high, a wet cloth on the forehead helps, but if it goes too high, see the doctor, beta.

Simple si baat hai, 100.4°F ya 38°C ke upar ho toh fever hai. Thoda bohot upar neeche ho toh it's fine, body ka natural fluctuation hota hai. Lekin agar jyada ho, ya feel theek nahi ho, toh doc ko dikha do.

I was also confused about this recently! From what I researched, 100.4°F (38°C) is the widely accepted temperature for a fever in adults. It's good to know these things, makes you feel a bit more prepared.

Oh, this question always makes me a bit anxious! I constantly check my temperature if I feel even a little warm. Usually, 100.4°F (38°C) is the official fever mark. But if you're worried, always better to consult your physician.
