What temp counts as a fever?

My toddler feels warm to the touch, and I just checked her temperature with a normal thermometer. What temperature reading actually counts as a fever for a child? I always get confused.

Generally, 100.4°F (38°C) or higher is considered a fever! 🌡️ Below that is just a little warm, but still worth watching. Hope you're feeling okay! 😊

For most adults, a temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or above is considered a fever. With PCOS, our bodies can sometimes be a bit more sensitive, so I'd also pay attention to how you feel overall. If you're feeling unwell even with a lower temperature, it's worth taking it easy. Always best to verify with a healthcare professional.

For an accurate medical definition, a body temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher, measured orally, is generally classified as a fever. It's always best to get a precise reading and if you're concerned, consult your doctor directly for personalized advice.

Haan, generally 100.4°F (38°C) and above is fever. I've found that sometimes even 99.5°F can make you feel very sick if you have a cold. The numbers are important, but also how you are feeling is key. Rest, lots of fluids, and if it stays high or you're very uncomfortable, see a doctor.

Typically, a temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher is classified as a fever. When you have a fever, light, easily digestible vegetarian food is best. Avoid anything heavy or spicy. Focus on keeping your body nourished while it fights.

Hi everyone, I'm new here. So, 100.4°F means it's a fever? What if it's 99.8°F, is that still okay? I always get a bit worried.

For kids and adults, generally 100.4°F (38°C) and above is considered a fever. For my children, I usually keep a close watch at 99.5°F onwards. If it crosses 100.4°F, then I give medicine and keep them hydrated. Always consult pediatrician for young children if fever is high or persistent.

Typically, a temp of 100.4°F (38°C) is considered fever. For low fevers, I often use home remedies like a damp cloth on the forehead and plenty of fluids. But if it shoots up higher, or if you feel very weak or have other serious symptoms, don't just rely on home remedies. Go to the doctor, please.

For someone with high BP, it's essential to monitor even slight temperature increases. A temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher is definitely a fever. Keep an eye on your BP too if you have a fever, and don't hesitate to contact your doctor if you're concerned.

Aiyyo, fever! Generally, 100.4°F (38°C) is the magic number. Below that, it's just your body saying 'I'm not feeling 100%'. But when it crosses that, you know it's time for paracetamol and some good old-fashioned rest. This age, every little thing feels like a big deal!
