Oh, diabetes is quite common, ho na. My neighbor, who has type 2, drinks fenugreek seed water, but I think karela juice is also something people use. For tea, I've heard hibiscus tea is good, but no sugar, obviously. Always best to ask the doctor.

Hi! My dad has type 2 diabetes, and his doctor actually recommended green tea. He drinks it unsweetened, of course. It's supposed to help with blood sugar regulation and also has antioxidants. Maybe give that a try after checking with your doc?

I totally get how difficult it can be to manage diabetes and find things that help. Many people suggest cinnamon tea or ginger tea because they might help with insulin sensitivity. Just remember, these are complementary, and your medication and diet plan are most important.

I'm just starting to learn about managing type 2 diabetes. So green tea is a good option? Does it matter if it's normal green tea or a specific kind? And is it okay to drink it every day?

Beta, for sugar patient, karela juice is very good, but for tea, some people drink jamun seed powder mixed in warm water. It's a natural thing. But don't stop your medicine from doctor, haan. And no sugar in any tea, remember.
