What tb test should look like?

I'm getting a TB test next week, and I'm a bit nervous. What exactly should a normal, healthy TB test look like after it's done?

Don't try to interpret a TB test based on internet pictures, seriously. The reaction is measured by a healthcare professional after 48-72 hours. What looks 'normal' to you might be positive to a doctor. Always let a medical professional read your results.

For a TB skin test, a healthcare professional will check the size of the raised, hardened area. It's not about the redness. Beyond that, I can't say much. I just focus on keeping my immunity strong with good plant-based nutrition, which is always important for overall health.

I had a TB skin test a while ago and it was a small bump, a bit red. I kept looking at it, worried. Is it supposed to be a certain size to be positive, or is it different for everyone? I felt really anxious waiting for the official reading.

For a TB skin test, they look for a raised, firm bump, not just redness. The size of the induration matters, and only a doctor can measure it correctly. After my test, I kept my arm still and avoided heavy workouts for a couple of days, just to make sure it wasn't irritated.

Yaar, so for a TB skin test, actually, the nurse or doctor will check for a raised, hardened area on your arm after like 2-3 days. It's not about the redness, but the firmness and size of the bump. They'll measure it with a ruler, only they know what's normal or positive. Don't try to guess yourself!
