What system does asthma affect?

My younger cousin was just diagnosed with asthma, and our family is trying to understand it better. I'm curious, what system in the body does asthma primarily affect? Is it just the lungs or more?

Yaar, asthma mainly affects your respiratory system, actually. It's all about your airways getting inflamed and narrowed, making it tough to breathe. But the constant struggle and lack of oxygen can indirectly affect your energy levels and overall well-being too, na?

Asthma? Oh, that's the breathing problem, right? So it's definitely the respiratory system! Makes it so hard to even enjoy a good meal without feeling out of breath sometimes, can't imagine! But it's good to know which part of the body it affects.

Asthma primarily affects the respiratory system, ho na? It's about your lungs and breathing passages. When an attack happens, it gets difficult to breathe properly. But because breathing is so fundamental, it can indirectly make you tired and affect your overall energy. Always keep your inhaler ready!

Asthma directly affects the respiratory system, specifically the airways and lungs, making breathing difficult. As a diabetic, I know how interconnected body systems are. While it's primarily respiratory, severe asthma can also put stress on the cardiovascular system. It's important to manage it well, just like managing blood sugar, to prevent wider health impacts.
