What states allow mental health days in school?

My kids' school here in India doesn't have a concept of mental health days, but I heard some schools in the US do. Which states in the US allow students to take mental health days from school?

It's good to see that mental health is finally being recognized. Back in my day, we just had to 'toughen up'. But allowing mental health days is a positive step. Don't stress too much about school sometimes, a break is necessary.

That's such a progressive move by some states. With PCOS, I know how mental and physical health are intertwined. It's good to be cautious and give kids space when they need it. We should definitely support measures that promote overall well-being, not just academics.

This is great news! I always worry about academic pressure on kids. Allowing mental health days is so important. It can prevent so much stress and anxiety. I hope more states adopt this. It's a huge step for well-being.

Wow, mental health days for school kids? That's awesome! Don't stress too much about finding a list of states, but it shows how important it is to take a break when you need it. Everyone deserves a chill day for their mind!

While it's good to know about such policies, remember that general mental well-being is always a priority. If any child seems persistently low or stressed, a professional check-up is still the best course of action for their safety and health.

I wish mental health days were a thing when I was in school! It's so important for students to get that space. Having recently focused on my own mental well-being, I can say these breaks are absolutely crucial for avoiding burnout and staying healthy.
