What soothes eczema?

My son has eczema, and sometimes the itching gets really bad. We use his prescribed creams, but I'm looking for natural or quick remedies for when it flares up. What else can I use to soothe his eczema?

Eczema can be so itchy and annoying! 🥺 What really helps me is a cool compress or a lukewarm oatmeal bath. And moisturizing, moisturizing, moisturizing! Look for thick, fragrance-free creams like Aveeno or Cetaphil. Hydration is key!💧😊

For eczema, direct soothing comes from a few things: regular moisturizing with a thick, emollient cream (fragrance-free is key), lukewarm baths with colloidal oatmeal, and using a cool compress on itchy areas. Also, identifying and avoiding your triggers is crucial. Consult a dermatologist for persistent issues.

I was just reading about this! It seems like emollients and moisturizers are super important for eczema, especially after a bath. Also, they say lukewarm baths, not hot ones, can help. Some articles even mention wet wraps for really bad flare-ups. It sounds like managing triggers is a big part of it too.

Eczema ke liye, sabse pehle toh dry skin nahi honi chahiye. Toh acche se moisturizer lagao, wo bhi fragrance-free wala. Nahane ke liye garam paani nahi, thoda gunguna paani use karo. Aur haan, agar zyada itching ho toh doctor se consult karke koi anti-itch cream bhi laga sakte ho. Ghar mein kapde bhi cotton ke pehno.

With patience and calm, many things can be soothed. For eczema, nourishing the skin gently is key. Use natural, fragrance-free emollients, and keep your skin hydrated. A calm mind also helps the body heal. Consult a doctor for proper guidance and maintain a positive outlook.

Hey girl, don't stress too much, eczema is a pain but there are ways to soothe it! My friend swears by lukewarm baths with colloidal oatmeal. And after that, immediately put on a thick, fragrance-free moisturizer. Keeping the skin hydrated is super important. Also, try to avoid scratching, I know it's hard!

For eczema, don't just try every home remedy online. Many can irritate your skin further. The most reliable ways to soothe it are proper medical-grade moisturizers, gentle cleansers, and possibly topical creams prescribed by a dermatologist. Always verify treatments with a doctor before applying anything.
