What soap is good for eczema?

My skin has been really itchy and red lately, and the doctor said it might be eczema. The regular soaps seem to make it worse. Can anyone recommend a soap that is good and gentle for eczema-prone skin?

For eczema, it's best to use very mild, fragrance-free, and hypoallergenic cleansers. Brands like Cetaphil, Aveeno Eczema Therapy, or Sebamed are often recommended by dermatologists. Avoid harsh soaps with strong perfumes or dyes. It's more about 'cleanser' than 'soap' for sensitive skin.

I suffered from eczema for years! The best thing I did was switch to a very gentle, soap-free cleanser. My dermatologist specifically recommended Sebamed Cleansing Bar or Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Gel moussant. Avoid anything that foams a lot or has a strong fragrance. It made a huge difference to my skin, along with regular moisturizing.

Oh, eczema can be so annoying! 🥺 For soap, definitely go for something super gentle and fragrance-free. My dermatologist suggested Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser or Aveeno Eczema Therapy. They are like a hug for your skin! 😊 Stay away from anything with harsh chemicals or strong smells. Hope it helps you! ✨

Eczema soap? Man, if it doesn't sting, burn, or make me itch even more, it's a win! But seriously, my doc said to use fragrance-free, gentle cleansers like Cetaphil. My brain is too tired to remember fancy names, but the milder, the better. Anything that lets me get some sleep without scratching!

Hey, for eczema, it's really important to be gentle with your skin. You should use a very mild, fragrance-free cleanser, not a regular soap that can dry out your skin. Look for products specifically designed for sensitive or eczema-prone skin. Your doctor or a dermatologist can give you the best specific brand names to try, so you don't irritate it further.

For eczema, you need a dermatologist-recommended gentle cleanser, not harsh soap. Look for 'fragrance-free', 'hypoallergenic', and 'soap-free' labels. Brands like Cetaphil or Aveeno are common choices. Quick tip: use lukewarm water, not hot, and pat dry after washing. Consult a dermatologist for personalized product recommendations.

Oh god, eczema can be so tricky, I totally get why you're asking! The wrong soap can make it flare up so badly. I've heard dermatologists often suggest soap-free cleansers like Cetaphil or Dove Sensitive Skin Bar. It's so important to find something that doesn't strip your skin's natural oils. Hope you find something that works well for you!

My dermatologist explained that for eczema, using actual 'soap' can be too harsh due to its alkaline pH. Instead, one should opt for syndet bars or liquid cleansers that are pH-balanced, fragrance-free, and hypoallergenic. Specific brands often recommended are Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, Aveeno Eczema Therapy Daily Moisturizing Cream, or Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar. Always check the ingredients for known irritants.
