What side to sleep on for gerd?

I've been suffering from GERD for a while now, and it really disturbs my sleep with that burning sensation. My doctor mentioned something about sleeping position. What side should I sleep on to help with GERD symptoms?

Oh, I was just looking this up myself! Heard that sleeping on the left side is generally recommended for GERD. Something about gravity keeping the acid down. Makes sense, I guess? Hope it works for you!

For GERD, sleeping on your left side with your head elevated is often advised. It helps keep the stomach acid where it belongs. Just like managing diabetes needs careful food choices, managing GERD requires careful habits, including sleep position. Small changes make a big difference.

Hey! For GERD, the general consensus is to sleep on your left side. It's supposed to help reduce acid reflux. Also, try elevating your head slightly with an extra pillow or a wedge. Hope you get some relief, it can be really uncomfortable!

My son has GERD, and his doctor specifically told us to make him sleep on his left side. We also elevated his head a bit using a wedge pillow. It seemed to make a significant difference in his comfort at night. You should try that.

Haan na, for GERD, left side pe sona best hai. Woh acid reflux kam karta hai. Aur thoda sir upar rakh ke sona, like do takiye use karna, usse bhi farak padta hai. Bahut uncomfortable hota hai yeh, I know.

For GERD, it's generally advised to sleep on your left side to minimize acid reflux. Also, elevate your head slightly. Just like for BP, managing GERD needs consistent lifestyle changes and regular check-ups. Don't ignore it.

GERD ke liye toh bas left side pe hi sona padta hai, boss. Varna raat bhar jalan hoti rehti hai. Itna gussa aata hai ki neend bhi nahi aati! Kinda makes you wonder why our body isn't designed to sleep comfortably on any side after a big meal, haan?

Hello, I also have GERD sometimes. So it's the left side, right? Does elevating the head with pillows also help a lot, or is the side more important? I want to try everything for relief.

Absolutely, for GERD, the left side is your best friend! It's scientifically proven to help keep stomach acid down due to our anatomy. Combine that with a wedge pillow to elevate your upper body, and you'll find a lot more relief at night. It's a common and effective strategy.
