Oh, my older sister is pregnant right now and she literally sleeps only on her left side! She says her doctor told her it's super important for the baby and blood flow. It must be true if all doctors say it, right?
Just delivered my baby a few months ago, and trust me, the left side was my best friend during pregnancy! It felt a bit strange initially, but it really helped with swelling and also just felt better for the baby. Totally recommend getting a good pregnancy pillow to make it easier.
Please, please consult your gynaecologist about this. I had some complications during my pregnancy, and every little detail mattered. They will give you the most accurate advice based on your specific health. Don't take any chances.
It's totally normal to be thinking about these things when you're pregnant! I remember feeling so worried about every tiny detail. Most doctors recommend the left side for better blood flow to the baby. Hope you find a comfortable position soon!

Haha, my wife was also told to sleep on her left side when she was pregnant. By the ninth month, she was so uncomfortable, she said she would sleep on the ceiling if she could! But yes, left side is what the doctors say is best.
