What side should i sleep on with a ruptured eardrum?

I have a ruptured eardrum from a recent infection, and the pain is quite bad, especially at night. I'm worried about putting pressure on it. Which side should I try to sleep on to make it more comfortable?

Haan, this is a tricky one. Ideally, you should sleep on the side opposite to your ruptured eardrum, na? Like, if left ear has problem, sleep on right. To avoid pressure and drainage issues.

Hey, it's important to be careful with this. You should definitely sleep on the un-affected side, so the bad ear is facing up. It'll help with drainage and keep pressure off it. Don't worry, it'll heal but take proper care.

Oh no, a ruptured eardrum sounds serious. So you should sleep on the good ear's side, right? Does putting a pillow in a specific way also help with this kind of injury?

Always sleep on the opposite side of the ruptured eardrum. You want to avoid any pressure on the affected ear and allow for drainage. Also, keep it dry!

Oh, that needs careful attention. You should sleep on the side of your healthy ear, to avoid putting pressure on the ruptured one. Like with my thyroid, consistent doctor follow-up and listening to their advice is key for healing.

I had a similar issue once. I just tried to sleep on my other side, the one that wasn't hurting. It felt better that way, but everyone is different. You should really check with a doctor for specific advice.

Simple rule: sleep on the opposite side of the affected ear. No pressure, better drainage. And please, follow your doctor's specific instructions for medication and care. Recovery needs proper attention.

Beta, jab kaan mein takleef ho, toh us taraf nahin sona chahiye jahan dard hai. Dusri taraf karwat leke so. Aur haan, garam kapde ki sek thoda aram de sakti hai, lekin doctor ki dawai zaroori hai. Aise mamle mein risk mat lena.

When the body is healing, comfort and minimal pressure are key. I would suggest sleeping on the side of the healthy ear, allowing the affected ear to face upwards. This gentle positioning can support natural healing without obstruction.

My ENT doctor advised me that if you have a ruptured eardrum, you should sleep with the affected ear facing upwards. This prevents pressure and allows any discharge to drain easily. It also helps to prevent further irritation or infection.

Been there! Sleep on the side where your ear is fine. This keeps the pressure off the ruptured eardrum and helps it drain properly. Also, don't let water get into it when you bathe, and try to keep your head slightly elevated. It takes time, but it heals.
