What side chest pain for heart attack?

My neighbor had a heart attack recently, and he complained about chest pain on his left side. Is it always the left side of the chest that hurts during a heart attack, or can it be on the right too? Just wondering for general knowledge.

Usually, people associate it with the left side, but it can actually be in the center of the chest or even radiate to the jaw and arms. When my dad had discomfort, we rushed him to Max hospital immediately. Don't waste time on forums, go to a good hospital and ask a doctor clearly.

Dekho boss, directly left side pain means heart attack, aisa simple rule nahi hota. It can happen in the center also and feel like heavy pressure or squeezing, like someone is sitting on your chest. If you are feeling this right now, stop reading and call an ambulance immediately.

A heart attack can feel like heavy pressure in the center or left side of your chest, sometimes going to the left arm too! But let's not panic, it's always best to be safe and get checked by a doctor right away if you are worried. Sending good vibes!

Haan na, everyone thinks it is only left side pain, but actually, it can be severe pressure in the center also. Along with chest pain, if there is sweating and breathlessness, we must take it seriously. It is always better to reach a clinic quickly instead of waiting at home.

At my age, every minor burp and gas pain on the left side makes me think my time has come! But jokes apart, severe squeezing pain in the center or left side that spreads to the neck or arm is a major red flag. Don't ignore it thinking it's just yesterday's samosa.

Left side or center chest pain should never be ignored. Even if you are worried about the cost of emergency tests like an ECG or Trop-I, public hospitals do them very cheaply, so don't let budget keep you from checking. It is much cheaper to get checked early than to deal with ICU charges later.

My uncle had this last year, and his pain was actually in the center of the chest, not just the left, and he felt very sweaty and breathless. It is a myth that it is always on the left side. If you or anyone near you is experiencing severe pain, please go to the nearest emergency room.

As someone managing high blood pressure for ten years, I can tell you chest pain from heart issues is often in the center or left side. Please don't ignore it, lifestyle issues like BP make us more vulnerable. Get your routine cardiac tests done and consult your physician immediately if you feel pressure.
