What side are kidney stones on?

My friend was just diagnosed with kidney stones and he's in a lot of pain. He keeps saying it's on his right side. Do kidney stones usually form on a specific side, or can they be on either side of the body?

Kidney stones can be on either the left or the right side, depending on which kidney has the stone. My son had terrible pain in his lower back on the right side that spread to his groin. Please make sure they drink plenty of water and see a doctor for an ultrasound.

The pain can be on the left or right side of your lower back, and it often moves towards the lower abdomen. I use my health tracker to log water intake because staying hydrated is key to preventing them. If you suspect you have one, a quick ultrasound is the best way to confirm.

Haan, kidney stone pain dono mein se kisi bhi side ho sakta hai, left ya right. Yeh pain peeche se shuru hokar aage pet ki taraf aata hai na. Agar aisi koi problem lag rahi hai, toh turant doctor ko dikhao.

Actually, kidney stones can be on either side, yaar. The pain usually starts in the lower back or side flank and can get really intense. If the pain is unbearable, don't wait at home, just go to the doctor.

It can be on either side, left or right. If you have severe back pain, don't ignore it, but plan your medical tests wisely. An ultrasound at a local government-approved diagnostic center is usually very affordable and will tell you exactly where the stone is.

The pain can happen on either side, left or right. I had a kidney stone that blocked my urinary tract because I delayed treatment, which caused a severe infection. If you have sharp pain in your back or side, please see a doctor immediately.

Kidney stones can form on either side, left or right. As a diabetic, I am extremely careful about kidney health, so I highly recommend getting a proper medical diagnosis and not trying to self-treat with random home remedies.

It can be on the left or the right side! The pain can be quite sharp, but staying super hydrated really helps flush smaller ones out. Definitely see a doctor to get an official scan done.

You can get stones in either the left or right kidney, causing pain on that specific side. While I am more familiar with managing thyroid follow-ups, I know that severe, sudden back pain requires immediate medical attention and tests like an ultrasound.
