What should a non diabetic's blood sugar be after eating?

I'm trying to be more aware of my sugar intake and recently tested my blood sugar after a meal. What is considered a normal blood sugar level for someone who doesn't have diabetes after they've eaten? Just wondering if my reading was okay.

After eating, for a non-diabetic, your blood sugar should ideally be below 140 mg/dL within 2 hours! ✨ If it's consistently higher, maybe chat with a doc. Stay healthy! 😊

Just like managing thyroid where regular tests are crucial, for blood sugar, a non-diabetic should ideally see levels below 140 mg/dL two hours after a meal. If you notice it's higher than that often, it's always wise to follow up with your doctor for proper evaluation, don't just assume it's normal.

Don't just rely on general numbers you read online. While the typical range for non-diabetics after eating is below 140 mg/dL, individual factors can influence this. If you're concerned, the only reliable advice comes from a doctor after proper testing, not from internet forums.

Honestly, after eating, my blood sugar is probably just trying to survive the onslaught of daily life and lack of sleep. 😅 But seriously, if you're not diabetic, it should be under 140 mg/dL two hours after you finish your meal. If it's higher, maybe less late-night snacks for me then!
