What should a diabetic eat for dinner?

My doctor recently diagnosed me with diabetes, and I'm really confused about what to cook for dinner. Could you please suggest some good options that are healthy for diabetics? Ghar pe sab bolte hain alag alag cheezein.

My father had diabetes and we learned the hard way that diet control is not to be taken lightly. He had some complications because we weren't strict enough. Please, for dinner, ensure it's low carb, high fiber, and balanced. But most importantly, get a proper diet chart from a doctor or a dietician. It's crucial.

Trying to figure out diabetic-friendly dinners can be quite anxiety-inducing, right? I always worry if I'm giving my parents the right food. Has anyone found a simple meal plan that actually works without too much fuss?

My uncle ignored his initial diabetes diagnosis and ate whatever he wanted, and eventually, it caused a lot of problems. Don't make that mistake. For dinner, focus on whole grains, lean protein, and plenty of greens. And please, get regular check-ups and follow your doctor's diet advice strictly.

As a vegetarian and someone who cares about diet, I'd say a good diabetic dinner could be whole wheat roti with a mixed vegetable curry (less oil), a bowl of dal, and a side of salad. Keep portions controlled and avoid rice or potatoes if possible, or have very small amounts. Always prioritize fiber.
