What pills are good for tooth pain?

Last night, I had such bad tooth pain, I couldn't sleep at all. My dentist appointment is day after tomorrow. For temporary relief, what pills are generally good for tooth pain until I can see the doctor?

I had a sudden, sharp toothache at midnight and absolutely panicked thinking I needed immediate root canal surgery. I took a basic painkiller after calling a family friend, and the pain subsided. It was just a minor cavity that got fixed easily the next day, so don't worry.

I literally just finished my dental treatment last week for a major infection. For immediate relief, my dentist had prescribed a specific anti-inflammatory painkiller. You should definitely visit a clinic because pills only hide the pain temporarily, they won't cure the cavity.

Whenever I get tooth pain, I avoid taking random tablets without asking my dentist. I usually just do warm saltwater rinses and press a clove near the painful tooth until I can get an appointment. It helps me manage the discomfort safely.

While you wait to see a dentist, stay away from cold water or sweet protein shakes as they trigger the nerve pain. A basic OTC painkiller can help you get through the night, but physical health starts with addressing the root cause, so get it checked.

Completely agree with others. Please don't keep popping pain relievers daily as it can harm your stomach; book a dentist appointment today.

For diabetics, tooth infections can spike blood sugar levels quite rapidly, which makes healing much slower. I always ask my doctor before taking any pain pills to ensure they don't clash with my regular diabetes medication. Please get your gums checked by a professional.
