Honestly, it's quite high if you don't make lifestyle changes. My doc told me around 50-70% within 5-10 years if left unchecked. So, it's super important to act now, even small things help a lot.

Hey! From what I've seen, many people do progress from prediabetes to full-blown diabetes, often around 15-30% within 5 years. But the good news is, it's not a done deal. Diet and exercise can really turn things around.

Oh, mere saath bhi same hua tha! My doctor said if I didn't change my habits, I had a 70% chance in 5 years. But I managed to reverse it with regular walks and cutting down on sugar. It's totally possible to not let it become diabetes.

I heard something like 1 in 3 people with prediabetes get diabetes eventually if they don't do anything about it. It sounds scary, but it's more like a warning shot. You have time to make a difference before it gets worse!

Don't stress too much, but take it seriously. Statistics vary, but a significant portion, maybe a third or even half, can develop diabetes over time. The key is to start making those lifestyle changes now; it really helps in preventing it.

Haan, chances are high if you ignore it. My neighbour had prediabetes, and the doctor told her around 30-40% of people like her get diabetes within a few years. But she controlled her diet, walks everyday, and is fine now. Simple changes work!
