What percentage of liver tumors are benign?

My sister was found to have a liver tumor during a routine check-up, and we're waiting for further tests. We're trying to stay positive. What percentage of liver tumors are usually benign, meaning not cancerous?

Hey! While I don't have exact numbers off the top of my head, many liver lesions or tumors are actually benign, meaning non-cancerous. Your doctor will likely use imaging and possibly a biopsy to confirm. Keep tracking your health and follow their advice.

I'm not a doc to give percentages, but from what I've heard, benign liver tumors are quite common. If you have one, keep up with a healthy lifestyle – good diet, and light exercise like walking, if your doctor says it's okay. It helps overall well-being.

It is natural to worry when you hear 'tumor'. But remember that not all growths are harmful. Have faith, stay positive, and follow your medical guidance. Taking care of your mind and spirit is just as important as the physical treatment.

Haan ji, achha question hai. Actually, kaafi baar jo liver mein growth hoti hai na, woh benign hi hoti hai. Matlab, it's not cancer. But of course, doc se proper check karwana zaroori hai. Don't take tension pehle se.

Look, I've been through this. It's really common for liver tumors to be benign. The important thing is that doctors monitor them regularly. Don't panic, just follow up with your hepatologist, and they will tell you what steps to take, whether it's just observation or something else.
