What percentage of cervical biopsies are cancer?

My sister just had a cervical biopsy done, and we're all praying for good news. This waiting period is very tough. What percentage of cervical biopsies usually come back as cancer?

Please, if you've had a biopsy, don't ignore the results or delay further checks. I ignored some symptoms once and regretted it deeply. For cervical biopsies, many are not cancer but show precancerous changes that can be treated. Get that checkup, don't wait!

This is a question best answered by your gynaecologist, preferably from a good hospital. They have the expertise to interpret biopsy results correctly. While a percentage might show abnormalities, not all are cancerous. Get clear answers from them.

Usually, I like to try natural remedies for small things, but for cervical biopsies, this is serious. You HAVE to see a doctor. Many biopsies show precancerous cells which can be removed before they become full cancer. So don't take risks, listen to the doctor.

As someone with PCOS, I always approach health info with caution. For cervical biopsies, it's not all doom and gloom. A significant portion show non-cancerous or precancerous changes. The main thing is to get proper medical follow-up and not assume the worst.

Cervical biopsies are crucial for detecting abnormalities. While a certain percentage might indicate cancer, many reveal precancerous changes (dysplasia) which are treatable. It's essential to follow your doctor's recommendations precisely, as early detection is key.

My friend's elder sister had a biopsy, and she was super scared. But her doc said most of the time it's not actually cancer, just some changes that need to be watched or treated. So don't stress immediately, wait for the actual results.

Beti, jab tak doctor kuch na kahe, mann mein galat vichar mat lao. Biopsy ek janch hai, bahut saare cases mein kuch bura nahi nikalta. Bhagwan sab theek karenge, bas doctor ki baat suno aur dawa lo.

Hey! It's totally normal to be worried, but cervical biopsies are often done to catch things early! A good percentage show treatable changes, not full-blown cancer. So stay positive and trust your doctors! ✨ You got this!
