What percentage of americans have eczema?

My skin has been really itchy lately, and my friend mentioned it could be eczema. She said it's quite common in Western countries. I'm just curious, what percentage of Americans have eczema?

Eczema is a fairly common skin condition globally. In the US, it affects a significant portion of the population, including both children and adults. If you or someone you know is dealing with it, consulting a dermatologist is the best course of action for proper diagnosis and management.

I've heard it's a significant percentage, especially in kids. I myself have tried so many home remedies for dry patches, from coconut oil to aloe vera. For chronic conditions like eczema, it's really important to find what works for you under a doctor's guidance, as it can be very frustrating to deal with.

Eczema can be really irritating, and it's quite common. But if you have persistent itchy skin, please don't just assume it's eczema. It's always best to get it checked by a doctor or a dermatologist to rule out other conditions and get proper treatment. Safety first!

My grandmother always said to keep the skin clean and use good oils. Eczema is common, I know some people here who have it. For proper numbers on Americans, I am not sure, but for any skin issue, always trust the doctor's advice first. Home remedies can be tried only after that.

Eczema is quite prevalent, and the percentage can be high especially in children. I had a friend whose eczema got worse because she tried too many home remedies without consulting a doctor. Please, if you have any symptoms, see a dermatologist to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan, don't self-medicate.
