What percent of people have fatty liver?

My doctor told me during my last check-up that I have fatty liver, and it's making me reconsider my diet. I was surprised because I don't drink alcohol much. How common is this condition? What percentage of people have fatty liver?

Fatty liver is becoming quite common, especially with our changing diets and sedentary lifestyles. It's a quiet problem, often without symptoms until it gets serious. The practical solution is to cut down on junk food, reduce sugar, and get some regular exercise. Simple changes can make a big difference, rather than waiting for a big medical bill.

Regular walking also helps. If the doctor says you have it, follow their advice, and try some karela juice or warm water with lemon in the morning, carefully, alongside.
