What percent of people affected by diabetes have type i?

My niece was recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, and it's quite a challenge for her and her parents. I always thought diabetes was mostly Type 2, so this was a bit surprising. What percentage of people with diabetes actually have Type 1?

Diabetes is a complex condition, and Type 1 is distinct from Type 2. It's important to understand the differences for proper management. If someone is newly diagnosed or experiencing symptoms, please, please get a thorough check-up with an endocrinologist to confirm the type. Self-diagnosis can be very dangerous.

Beta, diabetes has become so common nowadays. Type 1 is the one that children often get, where their body cannot make insulin. It is not like the Type 2 that comes with age or habits. They have to take proper medicine and injections. Our old remedies, like neem leaves, can help for general health, but for Type 1, it's essential to follow the doctor's strict instructions.

Diabetes, in general, is a big problem. Type 1 is often genetic or starts young, right? For my sister-in-law's son, he got Type 1 when he was very small. It means they need insulin. For Type 2, many try to manage with diet and exercise first, like bitter gourd juice, methi seeds. But Type 1 is different; home remedies won't replace insulin. Always listen to the doctor.

This is a very important distinction to understand. Type 1 diabetes is much less common than Type 2; it's an autoimmune condition. It usually starts in childhood or adolescence. It's crucial for correct diagnosis and management, as the treatment approaches are different. Awareness helps everyone be more supportive.

Haan, Type 1 diabetes is actually a smaller percentage compared to Type 2, na? It's like, mostly in kids or young adults. My friend's cousin has Type 1, and she has to take insulin injections daily. It's tough, but she manages it well. It's good to know the difference.

I only know about Type 2 from my family. My chacha has it, and it's mostly related to lifestyle and age. Type 1 seems like a different ballgame altogether. I haven't had personal experience with Type 1, but I hear it's usually diagnosed in younger people and needs insulin.
